Возможности совместного творческого взаимодействия

групп обучаемых при проектировании внеклассного мероприятия,

посвященного  Дню Благодарения.

Важной целью всякого общества является воспитание подрастающего поколения в процессе формирования его личности. Этот процесс связан с процессом обучения. Одной из форм, повышающих эффективность обучения, является совместная деятельность разных групп обучаемых при проектировании внеклассного мероприятия, вытекающего из урочной  деятельности.

. Содержанием, предлагаемого нами проекта внеклассного мероприятия является учебный цикл 4 «Why Are Family Holidays Important?» учебно-методического комплекта «Enjoy English – 8», под редакцией М.З. Биболетовой, Н.Н. Трубаневой.

Первый шаг к разработке данного мероприятия – работа над текстом «Thanksgiving Day in the USA» с использованием упражнений 47-50 на стр. 104-105. Иллюстрацией к данному виду работы может служить видео-презентация из Интернета по адресам: http://www.plimoth.org/http

Следующим шагом является разработка конкурса на лучший сценарий праздника, посвящённого истории возникновения Дня Благодарения.

Конкурс состоит из нескольких открытых творческих заданий:

1. Проектирование иллюстраций и слоганов.

2. Определение содержания своего сценария, составление его плана, обсуждение презентации.

3. Экспертиза проектов других участников.

4. Оформление и дизайн сцены и зала.

5. Защита групповой работы.

6. Рефлексия.

Данные виды заданий понравились обучаемым при участии в конкурсах - проектах Центра дистанционного образования «Эйдос» Российской академии образования.

Лучшие фрагменты проектов были объединены во внеклассное мероприятие для параллели 8-х классов. Это мероприятие, как и вся внеклассная работа по иностранному языку, носит воспитательно - просветительный характер.

Целью данного внеклассного мероприятия является ознакомление обучаемых с историческими событиями страны изучаемого языка. Мероприятие носит коммуникативный характер и позволяет школьникам развивать свои ЗУН по предмету, объединяет учащихся разных групп и уровней обученности, способствует развитию метапредметных знаний.

Многочисленные задачи данного мероприятия построены сообразно цели:

1. Углубить знания, приобретенные на уроках;

2. Заинтересовать обучаемых историей англо-говорящих стран;

3. Развить творческие, ораторские и актерские способности;

4. Воспитывать толерантность обучаемых, уважение к традициям и нравам других народов.

Оснащение внеклассного мероприятия:

1. Мультимедийный проектор;

2. Иллюстрации, слоганы (8-е классы)

3. Стол с блюдами: - индейка,

-кукуруза,

- тыква, (8-д)

- сладкие пирожки

4.Костер (8- б)

5.Костюмы пилигримов (8-е классы)

6.Костюмы индейцев (хореографический ансамбль)

7.Объявление в холл для учащихся (8-в)

8.Оформление и дизайн сцены и зала (8-г)

9.Сценарий (8-е классы)

I.Организационно-мотивационный этап

- Dear friends and guests!

You are welcome to our holiday party, which is devoted to the greatest American date that is Thanksgiving Day! Why not to begin with the history of the Thanksgiving?!

II. Основная часть. Защита проекта «Thanksgiving Day».

Ведущий 1.

As you know, the story will be told by some American students, whose great-great-grandparents were the first Englishmen called pilgrims. Well, let’s start. You’re welcome, dear guests!

(Учащиеся в костюмах пилигримов рассаживаются вокруг костра)

Ведущий 2.

(На экране появляются 1-2 слайды презентации)

- In the middle of the 15^th century some European countries began to send their ships to discover new sea routes too far off lands. One of these explores was Christopher Columbus from Spain, …

(подходит с указкой к плакату 1492 Christopher Columbus, продолжает рассказ, иллюстрации с презентации, слайд 3) … who sailed with his crew on 33 small ships for 3 months. When at last they saw an unknown land they thought that it was India. That is why they called the local people red-skin Indians.

“Eureka! I’ve found it!” But he was mistaken. It was an island near North America. But this new land got its name “America” a little later, when an Italian explorer Amerigo  (показывает второй плакат 1499 и презентация, слайд 4) Vesppucci described it in his writings in 1499.

- In 1620 more than one hundred Englishmen left their country forever and went to America on board the ship “Mayflower” to live and work there. The pilgrims sailed to America from Plymouth, England, in September 1620.

They came to the “New World” for religious freedom. Their voyage lasted for many weeks and was very hard.

- Many hundred years ago on the territory of the present day America lived the red-skin Indians. They hunted animals and birds, fished, grew corn and tobacco. At first pilgrims were afraid of them because of their attacks. They (Indians) were strong and fought really bravely. But, however, the red-skin local tribes couldn’t do much against pilgrims’ guns.

(Танец индейцев: вбегают в зал криками и гиканьем)

- The pilgrims’ first winter in the New World was difficult. They had arrived too late to grow crops. Soon the settlers found the place to build their village there. In January 1621, there were already streets and they called it New Plymouth. Winter came and the life became very hard. Without fresh food, medicine many of the settlers died.

- The red-skin Indians called the English people “Yankee”, as they couldn’t say the word “Englishmen”. Since that time “Yankee” has been the name of the white man in America.

One day a most amazing thing has happened. There were cries and shouts everywhere… An Indian was coming towards the settlers’ village.

My name is Samoset and I’m not an enemy. I learned English from some English fishermen, who used to come to fish in these waters. When I heard about you, I decided to come and offer you some help.

I see you are seared of me. Don’t be afraid … I don’t belong to any local tribe, but I have friends here. I especially recommend one of my friends called Squanto. His English is really good.

(кланяется, уходит с достоинством, пилигримы со страхом смотрят ему вслед, переговариваются)

(продолжает рассказ)

- Well, the Indians taught the pilgrims to hunt, fish, plant and survive in America. It was a great joy to settlers and peaceful Indians.

4: - In the fall 1621.

The pilgrims had a great harvest. They were both regretful and thankful and decided to make a holiday dinner of giving thanks to God.

8: - Indians were invited to the feast and brought deer meat, pop-corn, wild turkeys, geese and ducks and pumpkins.

(показывает блюда на столе)

4: - The Pilgrims’ housewives cooked the meat, baked bread and pudding, pumpkin pie and turkey. The Colonists fired cannon as a salute.

8: - They sat along tables and prayed….

“O God, guide me, protect me, illumine the land of my heart…

1. The New World promised us freedom and changes,

The weather was rough and the sea was cold,

But we left our homes, both Saints and Strangers,

Some for religion and some for gold.

2. With storms and disease, we faced many dangers

Our families died, but we didn’t stop,

And we reached the New World, both Saints and Strangers,

Soldiers of fortune and pilgrims of hope.

3. We will love these rivers and mountain ranges,

We will fight for this land to our last breath,

And we’ll stay here forever, both Saints and Strangers,

Brothers and sisters in life and death.

- Now Thanksgiving Day is a family holiday. It is customary for all members of the family gather at the home of the father and mother. In most homes there are traditional games and dinner with turkey and pumpkin pie.

Thanksgiving is a chance to renew friendship!
